It infuriates me to see that others still upload my creations for clout, but the gag is… they cannot recreate my aesthetic or replicate my Sims. There are many niches in the TS4 community, and creating Sims is mine, especially creating culturally diverse Sims that use no CC. Just as CC, pose, and mod creators want credit for their work, Sims Artists like myself - who have a distinct and unique design style - want credit for our work too. The point is to give credit to the artists that you steal from. Listen… this is not the first, nor will it be the last, time that people steal my Sims and re-upload them. – Yes, I am well aware of this trick in the TS4 community. This means that they purposely downloaded the Sim, created a twin/clone, then re-uploaded it to the Gallery so that the original creator would not show up (By: gourmetsimsx) but they’d virtually have the same Sim. So, naturally, I thought I’d return the favor by writing on their wall and showing some of their Sims some love, and that’s when I saw one of my Sims appear in their Showcase uncredited and with all of my info removed, including the By: gourmetsimsx link. They told me that my Sims inspired them, and it warmed my heart. So, I received a sweet message from a Simmer on my profile page.
