Almost all the Greatshields in the game offer 100% physical defense. Dark Souls 3 is mostly a melee-focused game, so there aren’t a lot of ways to play if you’re used to using bows & arrows in other fantasy games. The massive increase in durability is not really useful and 3 points to stability or some extra defense to magic (it still is better to just avoid magic).The Sanctus grants HP recovery over time. So basically for the extra 22 kilo and 8 STR requirement what do you get?
